Our Company
Exclusive Underwriting Managers (EUM) was founded to fill a gap in the insurance marketplace: the need for agile, partner-centric Program Administrators. We work with specialized retail agents, wholesalers, and underwriters who control profitable niche books of business but lack the infrastructure to convert them into exclusive programs. As a National Program Administrator, our mission is to help these partners move beyond traditional roles and build, manage, and own successful insurance programs.
Our Unique Equity Model
We believe that agents, wholesalers, and underwriters who understand their niche better than anyone else should share in the financial success of that program. Unlike traditional MGU relationships, where you simply hand off business, we offer an "equity" model. This allows our partners to hold an equity position within the newly created MGU, consisting of the programs we develop together. By aligning our interests, we ensure that we are all working toward the same goals: underwriting profitability and sustainable, long-term equity growth.

Our EXECUTIVE team
BRIAN EIGHMY - President
Brian Eighmy is a co-founder and President of Exclusive Underwriting Managers (EUM), where he oversees operational strategy, program execution, and carrier and partner relationships. He brings deep leadership experience across the specialty insurance ecosystem, with a career spanning MGA, carrier, and TPA platforms.
Prior to co-founding EUM, Brian held several senior executive roles, including President of a national third-party administrator, Director and Area Vice President at Arthur J. Gallagher, and Vice President at Berkley Program Specialists. His background also includes founding and scaling an MGU and TPA, as well as leadership positions at Arch Insurance Group and other program-focused organizations. This breadth of experience provides Brian with a comprehensive, end-to-end perspective on building and managing successful insurance programs.
LAURA ZOLLNER- Chief Underwriting Officer
Laura Zollner serves as Chief Underwriting Officer of Exclusive Underwriting Managers, where she leads all underwriting operations and ensures disciplined risk selection and portfolio management across programs. She brings more than 20 years of underwriting and leadership experience in the commercial insurance sector.
Laura began her career at Liberty Mutual, where she spent 24 years in underwriting, product management, and regional field leadership roles, ultimately serving as Vice President overseeing the company’s small commercial program business. Most recently, she led Small Business Underwriting at CNA, where she played a key role in driving underwriting excellence and strategic portfolio growth.
BRIAN MOLUSIS- Chief Marketing Officer
Brian Molusis is a co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Exclusive Underwriting Managers, where he leads the firm’s marketing strategy, program development, and distribution initiatives. He brings more than 17 years of proven leadership experience in the specialty insurance market.
Prior to EUM, Brian served as President of Vital Insurance Partners, where he played a key role in building and scaling the organization. During his tenure, he led all aspects of the business, including program marketing, underwriting oversight, carrier relationships, and overall program strategy. His experience provides EUM with strong market insight and a disciplined approach to growth.
BRADFORD EMMONS - Co-Founder & Board Member
Bradford “Brad” Emmons is a co-founder and Board Member of Exclusive Underwriting Managers, where he focuses on long-term organizational strategy and governance. He is a seasoned entrepreneur with a strong track record of building and scaling insurance organizations from early-stage development through private equity-backed ownership.
Prior to founding EUM, Brad was Co-Founder and Vice Chairman of Orchid Insurance (“Orchid”), a leading independent managing general underwriter with offices across Florida, Texas, and the Northeast. He served as President and Chief Executive Officer from 2008 to April 2021. Under his leadership, Orchid became one of the largest privately held insurance intermediaries specializing in property insurance, managing more than $80 billion in insured values. Key milestones during his tenure included multiple private equity transactions, significant organic and acquisition-driven growth, the launch of new business verticals, and broad product and geographic expansion.
